I have many years experience building and maintaining Hot Rods, Street Machines and Classics, and was also one of the original members of 'Bay Rodders' Tauranga, formed by fellow Hot Rodder and friend, Terry (Furnie) Furness in 1966, a club basically catering for all Hot Rod and Drag Racing enthusiasts. I later founded 'Street Machines and Customs' club in Tauranga in 1977 (see logo to the right) and we had a club catering for post 1949 American Cars and Street Machines.
A past member of both NZ Hotrod Assn (NZHRA) and National Street Rod Assn (NSRA), I also worked for K.E. Motors (later becoming West Bay Motors), the local GM dealership for many years.
