My
nephew Glenn shares a love for cars like me, as do many of my nephews.
In February 1994 he shouted himself a fancy 20th birthday present when
he purchased this beautiful sedan. Apart from the dragway mags he fitted
later, and the floor shift for the powerglide 2 speed auto, dual sports
exhaust, this car was very much std.
The chev had been owned
by a friend of drag racing legend Victor Bray and in the late 80's
the car had a worked 350 V8 under the bonnet which is why the larger
dual exhaust was fitted.
The owner of the car before
Glenn bought it would often put the car into Chev shows where the car
won awards for 'best paint' several years running. At this
time it had a std 307 V8 installed.
Glenn kept the car for a
few years before trading it in for a later model, more economic vehicle.
